Taliban Frankengun

Posted over at The NY Times, this Taliban Frankengun was recovered in the Wardak Province of Afghanistan. What is it? A quick look at this weapon you can make out the details of a Kalashnikov style dust cover and what looks like the barrel and front grip from an HK53. I wonder how well this Pakistani “Khyber Pass” gun actually fires? I dig the plastic sling, very tactical.

There was also this Frankengun in Iraq I posted a while back.
