The 300 Blackout seems to be the hot new round right now, well AR-15 maker Core 15 just entered their hat into the growing 300 Blackout ring with their new line of uppers. They’ve released three new options, their TAC SBR 300, TAC V.2 300 and MOE 300.
The 300 Blackout gained SAAMI approval in January of 2011 and the AR market has since seen a huge influx of new rifles and uppers from various makers. The 300 Blackout makes use of the current upper and lower reciever as well as bolt and magazines of the current .223/5.56mm AR-15 rifles, making it the perfect way for shooters to step up to a larger caliber bullet without breaking the bank.
