Hazmat Holster Works NV3 Glock 19 A/IWB Holster Review

A good holster is something that is an absolute necessity for anyone that owns and carries handguns. I have lost count of how many holsters I actually own and I’m sure many of you are in the same position I am. I always seem to find a holster that combines MOST of the things I want but never all of them. But, what makes a holster good can vary based on ones needs and desires. For me, a good holster has solid retention, comfort, stability and, of course, the ability to conceal a firearm well. I have found exactly what I like in the Hazmat Holsters NV3 holster. It has a great combination of all of the things previously mentioned and it has great styling as well!

Out of the box I was very impressed with the design of the holster. It did not have any sharp edges or anything that could potentially be a pain in the ass…no pun intended. It also included a 1.5 inch and 1.75 belt clip. The barrel end is open, so threaded barrels are a non-issue. The rear of the holster is also cut to accommodate a rmr style optic. There is ample room for suppressor sights as well. The design is simple yet very effective. I personally don’t like a holster that has 27 different attachments and takes 10 minutes to put on with the help of your wife or girlfriend. The belt clip is very rigid and provides great stability (I use the 1.75 inch). The slim design of the holster also makes it very easy to get on and off.

I have been wearing this holster every day for the past 6 months and have not encountered a single thing that I don’t like. The comfort level is very impressive, especially for an all kydex holster. The retention of the holster is the exact same as the day I received it and, surprisingly enough, this holster does not have adjustable retention, nor does it need it. In my eyes the retention is perfect and it has a very pronounced click when holstering. The draw is also as smooth as butter from any position of carry.

Wearing it on a daily basis is almost like not wearing it at all. There are times that I forget that it’s on. It conceals my Glock 19 very nicely and having great concealment with the added comfort is a beautiful thing. I have never had any issues with the holster shifting around. It retains the desired position very nicely.

This is a quality product that I would purchase for any one of my carry guns. I have worn almost every name brand holster you can imagine and I would put this one at the top of that list. I can’t wait to try out any other products that I can get my hands on from these guys.
